Nonprofit honors longtime supports Karen and John Zanzarella
Westchester County, N.Y. (June XX, 2022) – Hundreds of business and community leaders participated in the Hospice of Westchester (HOW) 20th Annual Golf Invitational, which was held at Westchester Hills Golf Club in White Plains on June 14. This year’s event honored Karen and John Zanzarella, longtime supporters, who have been volunteer coordinators and managers for the Golf Invitational since its inception. Proceeds from the event will support HOW’s commitment to providing compassionate end-of-life care.
“The Golf Invitational is a great opportunity each year for our community to come together for a fun day that raises much needed funds for our programs and services,” said Mary K. Spengler, MS, LHNA, Chief Executive Officer of HOW. “We were humbled to honor Karen and John Zanzarella who have supported our organization for many years and have been instrumental in the success of our Golf Invitational for 20 years.”
The 2022 Golf Invitational co-chairmen included Robert P. Camilli, Jr., Michael Centineo, Michael K. Ciaramella, Larry Dix, William F. Flooks, Jr., Jack Geoghegan, Joseph Kahl, Jim O’Connor, James P. O’Toole, Joseph Pepe, Christa Puccio-Gallo, Larry Weiss, Michael Wellman and John Zanzarella. Atlantic, Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Inc., Hildegarde D. Becher Foundation Inc. and Manhattan Beer Distributors, LLC were the grand sponsors of the event. Other sponsors included Peter A. Camilli & Sons; Empress Ambulance; Envipco; Polchinski Memorials; TOMRA of North America, Inc. and Zanzarella Marketing. The hole-in-one contest was sponsored by Pepe Cadillac.
